There are always new trends and ideas being explored when it comes to the design and manufacturing of automobiles. From luxury features to functional improvements, our team wants to share some of the upcoming changes you might see!

1. Diesel and Electric Hybrid Vehicles

You’ve already seen the boom of electric cars, but now it’s going even further with the creation of hybrid diesel vehicles. There are several different designs being explored, but we could soon see more efficient semis and pickups and more electric charging stations available to drivers.

2. More Sensors

The remarkable ability for sensors to assist drivers and improve safety has been increasing quickly. This means more and more new releases will have sensors to help guide your driving decisions. There is also talk of some new regulations that will require sensors as a newly required safety feature.

3. Windshield Displays

Over the years the dashboard and entertainment screens have increased in size, but now there is an opportunity to utilize the lower windshield space for displaying crucial information. Heads-Up-Display (HUD) allows the driver to scan information without looking away from the road. Alerts, speeds, and even navigation are options being explored for HUD.

4. Double Doors

Compact vehicles are important in many settings, but they often give up the luxury of four door design. This issue might be resolved with the upcoming concept of double doors. With two doors swinging outward and away from each other, smaller vehicles can have the four door design.
